#ad · Paid partnership with GOKO, which is also sending us an M6 to test after the launch.

GOKO launches the M6 robot mower at Curzon Hall in Sydney on Tuesday 13 October, and orders are already open on its Australian site, shipping in batches from October. Here’s what it does, how it’s covered, and what early buyers get.
- The M6 is rated for slopes up to 42 degrees (90 per cent grade). The steepest rating among the ten mowers in our automatic mower comparison is 80 per cent, about 38.6 degrees.
- Early-bird buyers get the nRTK positioning service free for life, two years of 4G data and a three-month warranty extension, and the first batch ships in October.
What the M6 is
The M6 is a four-wheel-drive robot lawn mower for big, awkward blocks. GOKO is the consumer robotics brand of Robot++, a robotics company, and the M6 is the only GOKO product on sale through its Australian site.
It needs no boundary wire. It finds its way using satellite positioning corrected over an internet connection, known as nRTK (network real-time kinematic), with camera-based mapping for spots where the signal is weak. Four cameras (one stereo pair and two side cameras), called QuadVision, watch for obstacles.
The specs
| What | GOKO M6 |
|---|---|
| Slope | Up to 42°, written as 90% grade |
| Obstacles | 75mm clearance, written as 3 inches |
| Coverage per charge | 2,000m² on the single battery, 4,000m² on the dual |
| Recommended lawn size | 1,000 to 10,000m² |

A 90 per cent grade rises 90 centimetres for every metre across, which works out to 42 degrees.
Four area numbers that measure different things
The M6 has four area figures that sound interchangeable and aren’t. Coverage per charge is 2,000 square metres on one battery. Coverage in 12 hours, recharging in between, is 6,000 square metres on one battery and 8,000 on two, measured on a relatively flat lawn with very few obstacles. The recommended lawn size runs up to 10,000 square metres. And the M6 can store maps for up to 15 acres, about 60,000 square metres.
Map storage is how much ground the software can remember. The recommended size is how big a lawn the machine is meant for. The per-charge and 12-hour figures tell you whether your lawn gets done in one run or several, so expect less on a sloping, cluttered block.
The early-bird offer
The early-bird offer is capped at 300 units, and the counter read “130 / 300 sold” on Monday 12 October. Early-bird buyers get the nRTK positioning service free for life, two years of 4G data, a three-month warranty extension and a set of mulching blades. The first batch ships in October, with remaining orders shipping from November.
We’ve left prices out until after the launch, when we can set GOKO’s launch offer against what the M6 actually sells for.
Warranty and support
The M6 has a two-year limited warranty, starting at activation or 30 days after the invoice, whichever comes first. Returns run 30 days, for products that haven’t been used. Support runs on an Australian 03 phone number, 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern Standard Time.
