Robot warranties in Australia run from three months on a pool robot’s filter to five years on a serviced lawn mower. Most buyers never look until something breaks, and by then the fine print has already decided the answer. Here is what each brand actually publishes for Australia, who stands behind it, and the catch in each one.
Of the four robot vacuum brands on this page, the longest cover is 2.5 years, on a named list of ECOVACS models including the X11 family and the X8 PRO OMNI. iRobot and Roborock reach 2 years on some models, and Roborock and eufy start at 12 months.
On a pool robot, the Beatbot Sora 70, the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro and the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max each carry 36 months in Australia. Our best overall pool pick, the WYBOT C1, carries 24.
On a robot mower, Husqvarna publishes up to 5 years on its 300 and 400 series Automowers, but only if you buy the cleaning kit and pay for annual dealer servicing. The eufy C15 is simpler: 2 years, and the battery, base station and adapter are covered for the full 2. Before the warranty, check the mower suits your block: our automatic lawn mower guide covers size and slope.
Whatever the brand writes, the Australian Consumer Law sits underneath it and does not expire when the warranty does.

Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro
24 months in Australia, from 360 International Trading. Consumables and battery wear excluded.

Beatbot Sora 70
36 months with Australia named in Beatbot’s policy. Our pick for large pools.

eufy Robot Lawn Mower C15
2 years, with the battery, base station and adapter covered for the full 2.

| Husqvarna Automower 405X | Up to 5 yearsCleaning kit plus annual dealer servicing required. The Amazon AU listing states the standard 2 years | Battery 2 years or 250 hours | Husqvarna Australia Pty Ltd |
| eufy Robot Lawn Mower C15 | 2 yearsBattery, base station and adapter included. The Amazon AU listing states 24 months | Void if you move from the original installation address | Anker Innovations Limited, on eufy’s Australian warranty page |
Every period above was read from the manufacturer’s own Australian warranty page, or from the Australia entries in its global policy. Where the Amazon Australia listing also states a warranty, it is noted underneath, and none of them contradicted the brand. Warranty terms change without notice, so the brand’s current page is the one that counts when you claim.
Warranty lists name models, not categories, and two machines a couple of words apart can sit on different lines. ECOVACS Australia lists the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI at 2.5 years. The machine in our catalogue is the DEEBOT X8 MAX PRO Omni. Those are not the same words, and we cannot tell you from the published list which period applies to it. If the longer term is part of why you are buying, ask the brand to confirm it against the exact model before you pay.
The machines, one by one
These are machines from our catalogue with long published cover, plus the one we recommend most in each category where it differs. The warranty is never the only reason to buy a robot. It is a fair tiebreaker between two that do the job.
CleanBots: robot vacuums

Roborock cover their Australian robot vacuums for 12 months as standard. A named list of 25 models gets 24, and the Qrevo Edge 2 Pro is on it. The newer Qrevo Edge 3 Pro is not on it yet. It is also the machine we point people to when there is a hay fever sufferer in the house.
The warranty is given by 360 International Trading Pty Ltd, the company named on Roborock Australia’s warranty policy. Two exclusions matter. Consumables are out, which is normal. So is battery health that degrades over time, which is less normal and worth knowing if you run the robot daily.

ECOVACS Australia list the DEEBOT T50 Family at two years. The T50 Omni carries the T50 name. The list names families rather than every model, so if the second year is part of why you are choosing it, confirm it with ECOVACS against your serial number.
Here is the part worth knowing before you choose. The ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 Omni, the best overall machine in our vacuum and mop guide, is not on either of ECOVACS’s longer lists. As published, it sits on the one-year standard. So does the new X12S OmniCyclone. Newer and better on the floor does not mean longer cover.
PoolBots: pool robots

Beatbot publish their Australian terms as a column in their global policy, and the Sora 70 sits on the 36-month line, as does the Sora P7. The Sora 10 and Sora 30 get 24. The Sora 70 is our pick for large pools in the robot pool cleaner guide.
The filter basket and roller brush are covered for three months only, a twelfth of the main term, so budget for replacing them yourself.

The whole AquaSense 2 family, the 2, the 2 Pro and the 2 Ultra, sits on Beatbot’s 36-month Australian line. The AquaSense 2 Pro is the premium pick in our pool guide.
The same short cover on the filter basket and roller brush applies, and so does the rule about buying in the region where you want it serviced.

Aiper’s Australian table runs from 12 months on the Scuba SE to 36 on the Scuba X1 Pro Max, the only 36-month line in that table. The X1 and X1 Pro get 24. Aiper also give the N1 Pro and N1 Ultra 36 months when bought in store in Australia. Aiper’s Australian store has shown the X1 Pro Max as out of stock, so check before you count on it.
Read the accessory line. The charging dock, adapter and hook are covered for six months, and Aiper treat the filters as a consumable. If one of those fails after that, the brand warranty no longer reaches it, though the consumer guarantees may.

WYBOT publish their Australian warranty inside the refund policy on their Australian site, not on a page called warranty, which is why it is easy to miss. The C1 and C2 each get 24 months. The F1, B1 and Hyson models get 12.
The C1 is the best overall pick in our pool guide. It does not carry the longest cover on this page, and that is fine. Two years is a common term among the pool brands we checked.
MowBots: robot mowers

Husqvarna Australia’s policy offers a warranty extension that takes the total to five years on domestic 300 and 400 series Automowers. The 405X carries a 400-series model number, and its Amazon Australia listing states the standard 2-year manufacturer warranty that the extension builds on. No other mower brand on this page publishes a longer term for Australia.
The conditions are real. You have to buy the Automower Cleaning Kit, and the mower has to be serviced at an authorised Husqvarna dealer annually, or on the schedule in the manual if that comes sooner. The mower must also not be used on a larger area than Husqvarna rate it for. The battery is covered for two years or 250 hours, whichever comes first, and the installation for two years on parts only. The extension is written for 300 and 400 series machines only. The Aspire R4 and R6V are not named in those series, so do not count on five years for them without asking Husqvarna.

eufy’s Australian policy gives its robot mowers two years, and says so separately for the base station, the power adapter and the battery pack. That matters, because on most robots the battery is where the arguments start. eufy’s Australian warranty page names Anker Innovations Limited as the company giving it.
There is no servicing condition. There is a residency one: the mower warranty needs the purchaser to live at the original installation address, and eufy’s cover is limited to the country of purchase.

The Scuba V3 and S3 are not in the Australian table yet |
| ZodiacPool robots | 2 or 3 years on the motor block by model, some capped by running hours, such as 3 years or 1,200 hours on the EX iQ line. Wearable parts 1 year | Authorised dealers only. The hours cap can arrive before the years do on a pool that runs daily |
| WYBOTPool robots | 12 or 24 months. C1, C2, C2 Vision, S2 family and S3 at 24. F1, B1 and Hyson 100 at 12 | If the machine has been taken out of its country of purchase, you pay the shipping on a claim |
| Dolphin (Maytronics)Pool robots | 24 months, from the warranty documents Maytronics Australia publish. The version headed “24 months limited” gives the motor unit, cable and power supply 24 months and all other parts 12 months | Check which version comes with your model. Service goes through authorised Maytronics dealers, and not registering does not reduce your warranty rights. Maytronics Australia say they have no obligation to honour a warranty on a Dolphin bought overseas |

| HusqvarnaRobot mowers | Up to 5 years in total on domestic 300 and 400 series Automowers. Battery 2 years or 250 hours, whichever comes first. Installation 2 years, parts only | The extension needs the Automower Cleaning Kit and servicing at an authorised Husqvarna dealer every year, or on the manual’s schedule if that comes sooner |
| eufyRobot vacuums and mowers | Robot vacuums 12 months. Robot mowers 2 years, with the base station, power adapter and battery pack each at 2 years | Restricted to the country of purchase. On a mower, the buyer must live at the original installation address |
| MammotionRobot mowers | Set by part and series. Battery 3 years on the LUBA 3, LUBA mini, LUBA mini 2, LUBA 2 X, YUKA 2025, YUKA mini and YUKA mini 2, and 2 years on the LUBA 1, LUBA 2 and 2024 YUKA. The LUBA 3 AWD’s Australian product page advertises a “3-Year Worry-Free Warranty” but does not say what it covers | The policy on Mammotion’s Australian store is its global text, from Mammotion Technology Co., Limited of Hong Kong, and names no Australian company. Claims can only be made in the country of purchase, and only where Mammotion officially sells the product |
Warranty versus the Australian Consumer Law
A brand’s warranty is a promise the brand chooses to make. The consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law are not optional, and they sit underneath every warranty on this page. The ACCC puts it plainly: “These basic rights can last longer than a business’s warranty.”
In practice that means two things.
A robot that dies in month thirteen is not automatically your problem. Whether it is covered depends on what a reasonable buyer would expect from a machine at that price. The ACL has no fixed expiry date for this. The warranty does.
You can go to the business that sold it to you. The ACCC says it received more than 3,000 reports in 2025 about businesses telling buyers they were not entitled to a remedy, or that they had to deal with the manufacturer, which is not the case. Start with the seller, keep the receipt, and put the fault in writing.
This is general information, not legal advice. For a dispute that is going nowhere, your state or territory consumer affairs agency is the next step.
What to check before you buy
Who is selling it. Roborock cover machines sold or certified by 360 International Trading and exclude warranty promises made by unauthorised dealers. Zodiac cover authorised dealer sales. Before you pay, look at the seller named on the listing, not only the brand in the title.
Where it was bought. A grey import is the fastest way to lose a warranty. Beatbot service only in the area of purchase, eufy restrict cover to the country of purchase, WYBOT make you pay shipping on a claim for a machine taken out of its country, Mammotion say you can only claim in the country where you bought it, and Maytronics Australia say they have no obligation to honour a warranty on a Dolphin bought overseas.
What counts as a consumable. Brushes, filters and mop pads are excluded almost everywhere. Batteries are where brands split: iRobot and eufy’s mowers include them, Husqvarna caps them at 2 years or 250 hours, and Roborock exclude battery health that fades over time.
Hours as well as years. Zodiac and Husqvarna both put running-hour limits beside the years. A pool robot on a daily cycle, or a mower on a large block, can use up the hours first.
The exact model name. See the X8 warning above. If the name on your receipt does not match the name on the warranty list word for word, ask before you rely on it.
Questions people actually ask
Which has the longest Australian warranty: ECOVACS, Roborock, iRobot or eufy robot vacuums?
ECOVACS. Its Australian policy lists 2.5 years on the X11 family, X8 PRO OMNI, X5 family and X1 OMNI, among others. iRobot and Roborock reach 2 years on some models.
Does the Roborock warranty in Australia cover the battery?
Not for normal wear. Roborock’s Australian policy excludes battery health that degrades over time, along with consumables such as the mop cloths, filter, main brush and side brush. A battery that fails outright is a different question, and the consumer guarantees apply to it.
Is the ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 Omni covered for two years in Australia?
Not as published. The T90 is not on either of ECOVACS Australia’s longer lists, so it falls to the one-year standard. The Australian Consumer Law still applies after that year ends.
What is the warranty on a Maytronics Dolphin pool robot in Australia?
The warranty documents Maytronics Australia publish give Dolphin robots 24 months. One version, headed “24 months limited”, gives the motor unit, cable and power supply 24 months and all other parts 12 months, so check which one comes with your model. Maytronics Australia also say that not registering your robot does not reduce your warranty rights, so keep your proof of purchase.
Is an overseas-bought Beatbot, eufy or WYBOT covered by the Australian warranty?
Usually not in full. Beatbot service only in the area where you bought the robot, eufy limit cover to the country of purchase, and WYBOT charge you the shipping on a claim for a machine taken out of its country of purchase. Buy the Australian version if the warranty matters.
Do I have to service a Husqvarna Automower to keep the 5-year warranty?
Yes. The extension to five years needs the Automower Cleaning Kit and a service at an authorised Husqvarna dealer every year, or on the manual’s schedule if that comes sooner. It applies to domestic 300 and 400 series Automowers only.
What happens when the warranty on a robot vacuum or pool robot runs out?
The consumer guarantees keep going. The ACCC says they can last longer than a business’s warranty, and how long depends on what is reasonable for the product and its price. Go to the business that sold it to you first.
