Saily eSIM
A travel eSIM you set up on your phone before you fly, so you have data the moment you land. My wife and I used it on our trip to the USA and had no issues at all.

Description
Saily is a data eSIM for travel. You buy a plan for your destination in the Saily app, install it at home, and Saily says the data package starts working automatically as soon as you land. It covers more than 190 countries, and you can top up in the app if you run short.
It is data only. Calls and texts go through apps like WhatsApp, or through a separate Saily phone number plan. Your phone has to support eSIM, and if you want your Australian number reachable as well, it needs to run a physical SIM and an eSIM at the same time.
