Description
The mid-range WINBOT, and it comes with a station. If you have more than a couple of windows to do in a session, that dock is the reason to step up from the W1S or the Lite.
The station
An all-in-one dock the robot works from, rather than a unit you carry between windows and plug in each time. Practically, it means less handling of a machine that is holding itself to glass by suction.
Cable handling
The composite design combines the safety rope and the power cord into a single cable. On an upper storey that is one less thing to manage over a sill, and one less thing to snag.
Suction
ECOVACS rate the W2 PRO Omni at 5,500Pa on their Australian product page, a little above the W1S at 5,300Pa. The listing title still says 2,800Pa, so go by ECOVACS’ own figure. Higher suction isn’t automatically better here, since holding force is only one part of a fall-safety system.
Cleaning and navigation
Cross Auto-Spray distributes solution across the glass, and WIN-SLAM 4.0 maps the window before planning a route.
