Description
Built for houses where the trouble is the joins between rooms: raised door tracks, thresholds and the step down into a tiled laundry.
- Retractable legs, obstacles up to 2.36 inches: About 6cm. Dreame call it ProLeap. Door tracks, thresholds and the step down into a tiled laundry are where most robots stop and sulk, and Dreame’s Australian page also rates it for single-layer thresholds up to 4.2cm.
- VersaLift drops it to 3.5 inches: About 8.9cm, so it can get under a sofa or bed that stops a taller machine, then raise itself again. An AI camera with an LED handles navigation in the dark down there.
- 20,000Pa Vormax suction from Dreame’s sixth-generation TurboForce motor, in a chassis designed around running quietly.
- DuoBrush: Two separate brushes plus an air-duct design aimed at hair, which Dreame rate to 11.8 inches, about 30cm.
- Extending brush and mop for corners and edges, with auto-empty and mop self-cleaning at the station.
On carpet: Dreame’s Australian page gives a 10.5mm mop lift for short pile, and the option to leave the mops at the dock for long-pile carpet. The dock washes the mops in water heated to 80°C and dries them.
Do not buy this if your floors are all one level with no raised thresholds. The climbing hardware is what you are paying for, and on a flat single-level floor plan it does nothing you will ever notice.
