Description

Joint highest published suction of any robot vacuum and mop ServiceBot tracks, and one of the few that publishes a mop-lift height at all.

  • 25,000Pa Vormax suction: Matched here only by the Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro. Dreame pair it with a motor design they say runs quieter than the previous generation.
  • 10.5mm mop lifting: Published by Dreame on the listing. Enough to cross a low-pile rug without wetting it, though short of the 17mm on the Roborock Qrevo Edge.
  • Automatic mop removal: The more interesting carpet feature. Rather than only lifting the mop, it can drop the mop at the dock entirely before cleaning carpet, so there is nothing damp near the pile at all. Carpet behaviour is set per carpet type in the app: remove the mop, lift it, avoid the carpet, or run two passes with boosted suction.
  • PowerDock: Empties dust for up to 100 days, washes the mops at 80°C, dries them, refills the water tank and cleans its own washboard.
  • FlexArm and 3DAdapt: An extending arm for edges and corners, with 3D obstacle avoidance.
  • 32-level moisture control, app and Alexa control.

Worth knowing: the name matters. This is the L50 Ultra CE, a different listing from the plain L50 Ultra. Dreame’s Australian warranty table names the L50 Ultra but not the CE, and the CE isn’t on Dreame’s Australian store, so check which variant a listing is selling, and ask the seller what warranty applies, before you buy.

Do not buy this if your home is mostly hard floor and compact. Past roughly 10,000Pa the suction number stops being something you can feel underfoot on tile.
