Description
Beatbot’s 2026 iSkim is a solar surface skimmer with a 9L basket and a 3-year Australian warranty. It works the water surface only.
- Basket: 9L, with filtration up to 550μm (30 mesh) and a 29 x 270mm inlet.
- Runtime: up to 28 hours on a full charge with no sun, as published by Beatbot Australia.
- Charging: 24W solar panel with SolarTrack light-chasing, and a 10,000mAh battery. Beatbot’s Australian FAQ says the adapter is sold separately.
- App: Beatbot app over Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth, with scheduling and automatic edge parking.
- Path: random, with edge cleaning. It does not plan a route.
Don’t buy this if your problem is pollen or fine dust. A 550μm filter is coarse next to the 150μm to 200μm baskets on other skimmers.
