The Scuba SE is Aiper’s entry-level machine and the cheapest robotic pool cleaner in this guide by a wide margin. It is a floor cleaner — it does not climb walls or scrub the waterline — and Aiper rates it for flat-floored pools under roughly 80 square metres.
- 90-minute runtime: enough for a small pool in one pass.
- 1200 GPH (4500 LPH) suction: the lowest in this guide, matched to its size rating.
- Flat floors only: Aiper specifies flat-floored above-ground and in-ground pools. A sloping or kidney-shaped floor is outside its brief.
- Rated to about 80m² (850 sq ft): beyond that you want something bigger.
Worth considering only if your pool is small and flat-bottomed. If it has a deep end, walls you want cleaned, or a waterline problem, spend more.
