Description

Window cleaning is the household job most people avoid, and it gets genuinely dangerous above ground level. The WINBOT W1S handles it while you stay on the floor.

Cleaning

A Cross Auto-Spray Dual Direction System distributes cleaning solution evenly across the glass while a microfiber cloth lifts dirt without streaking. ECOVACS rate the cloth at 400% water retention. The 60ml reservoir is large enough to do several windows before refilling.

Navigation

WIN-SLAM 3.0 scans and maps each window before plotting a cleaning path, rather than working randomly. It adapts to different glass types including frameless, tilted and floor-to-ceiling, and sensors track progress so no section is missed.

Obstacle handling

Detects and navigates around anything taller than 8mm, which covers most window furniture and frame hardware. If it does get caught, an air pressure system assesses the situation and works itself free without you fetching a ladder.

Safety

This is the part that matters on an upper storey. Ten layers of protection: 5,300Pa suction holding it to the glass, a safety rope, gravity sensors, and edge detection reacting in 0.02 seconds. During a power cut it stays attached for over 30 minutes.

Control

Three modes, Fast, Deep and Spot, through the ECOVACS Home app or the included remote. Voice prompts report progress, it returns to its starting position when finished, and position memory lets it resume from where it stopped.

Traction

A water-resistant synchronous belt maintains grip on wet or textured glass.
