Description
The top of Aiper’s range, and the only one that cleans the water surface as well as the floor, walls and waterline. It maps the pool rather than guessing at it, and parks itself at the surface when it’s done so you’re not fishing it off the bottom with a pole.
- 32,000 LPH suction: The most of anything Aiper sells, and about 27% more than the standard Scuba X1.
- Cleans all four zones: Floor, walls, waterline and the surface itself, in one cycle.
- Smart pool mapping: Scans the shape first and plans coverage, rather than working it out by bumping into things.
- TVC drive: Aiper describe the thrust-vectoring engine as aviation-derived, used for both suction and steering.
- Auto surface parking: Comes up to the edge at the end of a cycle for easy retrieval.
Worth knowing before you buy: this costs more than twice the standard Scuba X1 for roughly 27% more suction. What you’re actually paying for is surface skimming and mapping. On a straightforward rectangular pool the X1 does the same job for $1,600 less — this one earns its money on large, irregular or heavily shaded pools where leaf load on the surface is the real problem.
