Description
The L50 Ultra is the mid-range machine that actually publishes the specification that matters on mixed floors.
Its mop pads lift 10.5mm when it detects carpet — enough to clear flat bedroom carpet without dragging water onto it. More unusually, ProLeap uses a motorised swing arm to lift the whole chassis, so it climbs thresholds up to 6cm and single steps to 4.2cm. If your house has a trim strip between every room, that is the number to care about.
Suction is 20,000Pa. The mop washes itself in 75°C water and the AceClean system dries the pads between runs, which is what stops a robot smearing yesterday’s dirt across your floorboards. HyperStream DuoBrush is the tangle-free roller, and Dual FlexArm reaches out past the chassis to clean along skirting boards.
Dreame rate it for hardwood, tile and low-pile carpet. Deep or shaggy pile is not its job, and to their credit they do not pretend otherwise.
