Aiper Pilot X1 Handheld Pool Vacuum

Description

Not a robot. This is a cordless handheld vacuum on an extendable pole. You point it at the mess and it sucks it up. It exists for the jobs a robotic cleaner is bad at: the steps, the corner behind the ladder, and the pile of leaves in the deep end after a windy night.

• 1,260 GPH suction: Modest against a Scuba, but you’re aiming it directly at the debris rather than waiting for the machine to find it.
• Extendable pole: Reaches the floor from the edge, so you’re not getting in.
• Dual filters: Handles fine sediment as well as leaves.
• Self-cleaning: Rinses its own filter rather than needing to be picked apart after every use.
• No hoses: Nothing to connect to the pump, nothing to trip over.

Don’t buy this as your only cleaner. It’s a spot tool, you’re standing there holding it. If you want the pool cleaned while you’re at work, you want a Scuba. Where this earns its place is alongside one, for the bits the robot misses and the mess it can’t be bothered waiting for.
