Description

Yale’s smart lever for a door that has one lock and no deadbolt. It swaps the handle you have for a keypad lever and keeps a key.

Published specifications (ASSA ABLOY Australia, YRL226HKMBK)

  • Lock type: deadlatch lever, adjustable 60 to 70mm backset
  • Doors: 35 to 45mm thick, timber
  • Unlock: PIN code, Yale Home app (Bluetooth), mechanical key (C4 keyway, rekeyable)
  • Smart home: Yale Home module included; works with Apple HomeKit through the app as published; the Yale Connect Plus Wi-Fi Bridge (sold separately) adds remote access and voice assistants
  • Install: Yale says it installs in minutes with a screwdriver on doors with a single hole (no deadbolt)
  • Power: AA batteries, battery life 1 year as published
  • Warranty: Yale, ASSA ABLOY Australia: 3 years electromechanical; batteries not covered

Don’t buy this if your door is thicker than 45mm, or already has a separate deadbolt. Yale’s install note is for doors with a single hole.
